Dinesh Budha – 20

Dinesh is a 15-year-old boy in 9th grade from Jumla, Kanaka, Nepal. He has one older brother and an older sister. His mom is a farmer and his dad is a teacher.

When he started having pain in his joints, his parents took him to a local clinic for a checkup. Then for about a week it was fine, but afterward he started aching more. They went back to the local clinic. Eventually it started aching throughout his body so about a month ago he was diagnosed at his local hospital in Jumla with a type of acute blood cancer.

He is currently being treated at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. We will be supporting him and his parents with housing and food in Leo’s Kids Flats, as well as providing a portion of his treatment as needed.
