Jhusang Rai – 29

Meet our newest Leo’s Kid, Jhusang Rai, a 16-month-old baby boy.

Jhusang and his parents are from Khotang in the eastern part of Nepal roughly a 7 1/2 hour drive from Kathmandu. He is the first and only child in his family so far.

He was diagnosed in November with cancer in his ear and liver at a hospital in Dharan. Currently he is continuing his treatment at Civil Hospital at Kathmandu.

Jhusang just underwent several biopsies to determine his treatment plan. He and his parents will be staying at the Leo’s Kids flats after he is discharged.

Harimaya and Samira from the foundation had a chance to visit the family at the hospital and chat with them about how their baby is doing.
