Ikshahang is back to school after beating cancer!

Our cherished Leo’s Kid, Ikshahang, who already graduated about 2 months ago from active treatment, will be in his classroom with his friends shortly.

Harimaya and Samira from the foundation had a chance to visit Ikshahang and his dad at Kundalini Diagnostic Center. He is very healthy and is doing so much better. He came to Kathmandu for 4 days with his dad for a follow up including an MRI. The MRI results came with very good news. He is taking his medications at home. He will have to come back to Kathmandu for his checkups every three months.

Sunil talked to his dad about his plans and also to catch up with them. Ikshahang is enrolled in his hometown school in Kakarbhitta, Nepal, which will start in the coming spring, when the new school year starts in Nepal.

He is really happy to be home with family and friends after his long treatment. At his home he likes hanging out with his little sister, relatives, and friends and also loves playing online video games.
