Bishu graduates after multiple surgeries

After multiple surgeries over the past few years, 10-year-old Bishu graduates from active treatment!

Our sweet Bishu was able to go home following the end of her active treatment. Because the CT scan machine was not working at the time, Bishu went home and had to come back for the test. The test turned out great for her so she was released from active treatment and went home again a few days ago.

Bishu had lived in Leo’s Kids Flats for 4 or 5 months with her dad and her sister alternating staying with her. While she stayed here she enjoyed drawing and being tutored by Saraswoti, our first Leo’s Kid graduate – now ambassador. Bishu is well loved by the other Leo’s Kids and played with her buddies Minshu, Nawang, and Surbina especially. Now that she is back home her plan is to join first grade in a few months. She was very excited to be back with friends and family.

We are so glad to hear how well Bishu is doing and were thankful for a chance to catch up with her again since she went home. Let’s all cheer this darling girl on as she gets back to enjoying life at home.
