🌺 One year ago we received our official notice that we are an approved charity serving children with cancer in Nepal and their families. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) we have been blown away by all the things you have helped us accomplish! Our Team Leo’s Kids from all over the world has made a massive difference for our Leo’s Kids!
👦 One year ago we introduced our 8th and 9th Leo’s Kids to you right at this time. This month we have introduced our 43rd Leo’s Kid served!
🏡 When we welcome a new Leo’s Kid to our family, our goal is to relieve some of the stress childhood cancer brings to the whole family. We know when these families come from far away villages, they need to find a place to stay near where their child is being treated. We are grateful to be able to provide free housing for them with your help. Our families receive nutritious food at no cost to them because of your generous donations. A portion of their child’s medical expenses is also covered as needed to help these children have access to the care they need.
đź’° Our foundation has limited overhead expenses because we are all volunteers, and we have been blessed to be able to cover all of these expenses so far through the generous donations of our board members, relatives, and some of our friends who knew us before this foundation was started. This means your entire donation makes it to these children intact. We take this responsibility seriously because precious lives depend on the work we do.
🙏🏽 Thank you for being such an important part of our Team Leo’s Kids whether you’ve been able to donate once, donate regularly, or simply leave messages of hope and encouragement for our Leo’s Kids and their families. Every person who offers support is part of our team. We want to ensure our baby boy Leo’s life and his legacy will touch people for generations to come.
