We first introduced Nikita to you two months ago as our 54th Leo’s Kid. She has been undergoing treatment for recurring blood cancer.
In a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting with Nikita and her mom they told us Nikita is progressing well and has good medical reports. She looks healthier this time and has been able to eat better than before.
Nikita and her mom came back to Kathmandu a couple weeks ago after the festivals where she had a great time with friends and family. She didn’t want to come back since they live in a separate apartment in Kathmandu to be close to her treatment at Civil Hospital.
But she was making the most of it by preparing momo (steamed dumplings) which she loves, when we arrived for our visit. This girl with her irresistible smile enjoys making her own momo.
