Dipson Buda – 77

Meet our 77th newest Leo’s Kid, Dipson Buda

👦🏽 Sweet Dipson is almost 5 years old and comes from Rolpa, Nepal where his parents are farmers.

🏫 Dipson was attending school, about a 20 minutes walk from home, when not long ago he told his mom that his stomach hurt. When she felt his stomach she could feel hard bumps and noticed his stomach started bloating.

🩺 The first X-rays showed a possible need for surgery so they came several hours away to Kanti Children’s Hospital where they learned of the tumor.

💊 A biopsy revealed a strong cancer that requires strong treatment which costs far more than what his family could afford.

🤝 His parents were frightened and felt hopeless until they learned of Team Leo’s Kids. They were relieved to get Dipson started with treatment and possible surgery in the future.

🏡 Dipson and his parents are staying in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats so they are able to be together as a family, have food and housing provided at no cost, and transportation to and from the hospital for Dipson’s treatment.
