Our darling Ishu Gautam has been in the hospital recently and Sunil visited her regularly. Ishu had a dream to go to a fun place in Chandragiri and Sunil wanted to make that happen before heading back to the USA.
We were able to extend Sunil’s flight one week so he could fulfill this special wish of Ishu’s. This darling 10-year-old girl has been cheering on our Leo’s Kids by leading run/walk outings around Kathmandu this past year. This is while we have been unsuccessfully trying to find any place in the world where she could get a bone marrow transplant since this is not available in Nepal.
They finally made the trip to Chandragiri happen! Ishu and her parents went with Sunil, his sister Harimaya, along with her daughter Samira and son Samish.
They rode in a cable car, rode on horse back, played on the awesome playground, and tried zip lining for the first time!
What a great way to celebrate this amazing girl and give her a break from the hospital. We love you, Ishu!LeosKid Update
