Celebrating Abhinash Purbey, our 39th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!

15-year-old Abhinash is excited to go home to his friends and family after completion of active treatment for a type of blood cancer.

Abhinash first joined us in February this year as our 78th Leo’s Kid. He and his mom have been staying in an apartment near Civil Hospital and will be coming back once a month for checkups throughout maintenance phase.

Abhinash was excited to go home to his siblings in Janakpur, Nepal. He is also excited to go back to high school which his doctor said he will be able to attend in September or October.
