Celebrating Mohini Kurmi our 57th Leo’s Kid to fight cancer!

💪Mohini’s Unbreakable Spirit:

The Brave Journey of a 5-year-old Cancer Survivor

🎗️After enduring 27 rounds of active treatment and 33 rounds of radiation treatment for her brain tumor, Mohini was overjoyed to finally return home to Rupandehi. The thought of going home had kept her spirits high throughout her treatment. Despite the challenges, Mohini’s parents report that she has been feeling better, and her appetite has improved.

⚕️However, 5-year-old Mohini will continue to make the journey to Kathmandu every two months for follow-up treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

🏡Mohini first joined us in June 2021 and has since stayed with her mom, dad, and sister at Leo’s Kid B-Flat for the past 596 days. She is especially close to her baby sister, who was born in March 2022, and loves to play with her.

❤️Mohini is a playful and outgoing child, and she has made many friends among the other children staying at Leo’s Kid B-Flat. Her interests include dancing, drawing, and dressing up, which she does with great enthusiasm and creativity.
