A Phone’s Journey: Bringing Smiles to Sachin

Sachin had gone to the hospital for a regular check-up, much like our other courageous Leo’s Kids. In the midst of his thoughts while awaiting his turn, he unintentionally left his phone on a chair. After his doctor’s visit, upon returning to Leo’s Kids Flats, he realized that his phone had been left behind. His sister rushed back to find it, but it was nowhere to be found. Perhaps someone had taken it, and this disheartening thought haunted them for days.

To help Sachin regain his comfort and cheer, we decided to purchase a new phone for him. The moment he received it, his spirits lifted, and he started to feel better. Sachin has a passion for design, and he created the wonderful graphics displayed in this post.

In times like these, we’re reminded of the importance of keeping our Leo’s Kids engaged and entertained during their cancer treatment journey. With the usual sports and activities often inaccessible due to pain and discomfort, the younger ones turn to toys, while the older ones find solace in drawing, reading books, watching movies or playing games on their phones.

That’s why, here at Leo’s Kids, we make it a point to provide a wide range of entertainment items, including toys, drawing pads, books, etc. All our flats are equipped with strong internet connections and large TVs, ensuring that our young warriors can unwind when they wish. And for the parents, we offer board games, movie nights and carom boards to make their stay a bit less stressful.
