**Meet Leo’s Kid Aayash Kumar Chaudhary: A Brave Fighter from Dhangadi** 🌟

We’d like to introduce you to 13-year-old Aayash, a remarkable young Leo’s Kid from Dhangadi in Nepal’s Far-Western Development Region. With a younger brother and parents who work as farmers, Aayash’s family faces the challenges of life in their community.

In July 2022, Aayash started experiencing back pain, a concern that led his mother to seek medical help. However, the initial treatments didn’t bring relief. Aayash’s medical team recommended a biopsy test, and after two weeks, the results arrived from India. Aayash was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma Tumor.

Facing this challenging diagnosis head-on, Aayash underwent four rounds of active treatment at Bir Hospital. Unfortunately, medical tests revealed that the tumor was growing, ruling out the possibility of surgery. Aayash then began radiation therapy at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. He’s shown immense courage, completing 25 out of 28 radiation sessions and 5 out of 9 active treatment sessions.

Despite the trials, Aayash’s spirit shines bright. He’s been battling a loss of appetite, but his love for certain foods like eggs and various fruits remains.

Currently, Aayash is staying with his mom at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats, a room generously provided by Sunayana Limbu. While Aayash fights his battle, his younger brother stays with their grandparents back home.

Before his diagnosis, Aayash was a grade 9 student who cherished playing with his friends. Let’s rally behind Aayash as he continues his journey with strength, resilience, and hope.
