Meet Abhinash Purbey, our 78th newest Leo’s Kid!

15-year-old Abhinash comes to us 6 months into his journey with blood cancer. This wonderful young man who wants to be an electrical engineer had just completed grade 10 and was about to begin grade 11 when he had a continuous fever and bumps on his neck.

❤️‍🩹 His parents brought him to a clinic near his home town of Janakpur, Nepal which is about 6 hours southeast of Kathmandu.

Abhinash was first referred to the Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu where they diagnosed blood cancer. Next he was sent to Civil Hospital for further testing and treatment.

Abhinash has 4 siblings back home so his mom is with him in Kathmandu while his dad is back home in Janakpur with the rest of the family.
