Anjali loves drawing pictures and reading stories during treatment

12-year-old, Anjali is continuing with her active treatment for blood cancer. Due to low blood counts she has been admitted to the hospital.

In a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting Anjali’s mom said that Anjali is having a hard time eating food due to loss of appetite. Anjali’s mom works really hard to feed her and always comes up with a variety of food or new techniques to just get her to eat.

Our 85th Leo’s Kid Anjali loves drawing, so when she asked us to bring her a sketch pad we were happy to provide it. Anjali stays with her mom at Leo’s Kids K-Flats where she loves reading books from our bookshelves. Some of her favorites are about Snow White, Cinderella and Tinker Bell.
