Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital is where we begin our journey to support our first 20 Leo’s Kids with cancer and their families 5 years ago.
Dr. Ujjwal Chalise, Director of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, discusses about Childhood Cancer Medicines and a vital collaboration between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and WHO. This initiative aims to ensure an uninterrupted supply of quality-assured cancer medicines for children under 14 in Nepal.
Dr. Chalise stated, “The initiative is expected to greatly benefit children in need with cancer, particularly those who cannot afford treatment abroad, by ensuring access to essential therapies, including newer medications.”
