This week has been an especially difficult one because of the tragic loss of precious little Yogendra. He was such a beautiful little boy and though our Team only knew him for a short time, his passing has impacted us all as we think daily of his family and of his sweet spirit. Although we knew when we started this foundation that we would likely face hard times with some of our kids, not one of these children is an acceptable loss for us. Each one is irreplaceable and priceless to their families and to us. We come to you this week with an even stronger commitment to make a difference in the lives of as many children as we are able with your help.
We are able to help these children and their families because of our generous donors.

🎗Our first blood drive is two weeks away! For those of you in Nepal, please help us spread the word by sharing news of this Blood Drive on Saturday, March 14th at Kwality Banquet in New Baneshwor from 11am-5pm. We would like to dedicate this blood drive to the memory of darling Yogendra.
The blood drive helps with the blood supply issue, but our families face a challenge when they’re coming from villages far away into the city of Kathmandu. They’re dealing with the heartbreak of their child’s diagnosis and when they’re tasked with finding blood products in an unfamiliar city, it can quickly become overwhelming. So, Sunil has worked hard to find a better solution for our families with the LeosKids Blood Hotline where families can call one of our volunteers who will call around to the various blood banks in the area to locate a match for that child. Our volunteer will then contact Pathao (a Nepalese version of Uber) to provide transportation for the parents from the hospital to the blood bank and back again. This will help streamline this process and take some of the stress off of our families so they can focus on taking care of their child.
LeosKids Update: Our newest LeosKid Bipana has been teaching Renu and Saraswoti how to make TikTok videos as the girls live in the same building and have enjoyed bonding over these fun videos. Bishal and Ishwor are both doing well and are at their flats for now while Amar is completing this round of treatment within a day or two and then will be discharged again.
Thank you for joining us and please leave your questions or comments below for us to address on the next video log. Please take the time to share our foundation with the friends and family you know who want to be involved with this important work. TeamLeosKids is able to make a big difference when we work together.
