Buddhi brings the best medicine of all: laughter

You would think a 10-year-old boy with cancer might have a hard time laughing, but not Buddhi Bahadur. This wonderful young guy helps everyone relax and giggle in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats. Everyone loves this delightful boy!

In a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting, Buddhi Bahadur’s mom told us he has kept busy playing with all the other Leo’s Kids, playing on the kids bikes that were recently brought over to the Flats, and keeping up with gardening his chili peppers.

Buddhi Bahadur has been in active treatment for cancer in his neck and a recent x-ray indicated there may be some in his chest as well. Our 44th Leo’s Kid typically goes to Kanti Children’s Hospital for treatment, but has been referred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for testing and checkup before he begins another type of treatment.

Buddhi’s mom says he is doing really well though, and we know his fun-loving attitude helps him and everyone around him better able to face whatever comes. He is one remarkable boy.
