Celebrating Bigyan Shrestha, our 49th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!

16-year-old Bigyan was first introduced to us at the end of January as our 79th Leo’s Kid. This wonderful young man has completed active treatment for a type of bone cancer and is now in maintenance phase. He will need to go to the hospital for regular checkups every three months.

Bigyan’s leg disorder is also getting better. According to Bigyan the bicycle which you, Team Leo’s Kids, gifted to him is helping him with his leg disorder.

This special young man is staying with his siblings in Chundevi, Bhaktapur and although he has been staying in a separate apartment, we have had the honor of serving him for 187 days.

Bigyan is a bright student and is excited to go to back to high school when he feels better. He especially enjoys studying science, writing poetry, and reading autobiographies.
