Dilli Raj Danke first came to us in January of 2021. He is now 18 years old and has completed active treatment for bone cancer.
Dilli Raj and his older brother, who has been his caregiver throughout this process, had been staying at our Leo’s Kids B-Flats throughout his treatment and remained there for a little while longer while his leg improved.
Dilli and his brother are from a rural area in Salyan District, Mid Western Development Region of Nepal. Due to lack of transportation, they will have to walk long miles to reach their village.
Now that his leg is improving, he and his brother moved to a separate apartment in Kathmandu. During his stay in Leo’s Kids B-Flats, Dilli spent most of his time watching television, bonding with other Leo’s Kids and playing mobile games.
