Young Kabiraj is excited to go home after completing his active treatment!
5-year-old Kabiraj is from Kalikot, in the midwestern Development Region of Nepal. Since his village is 393 km from Kathmandu with no direct transportation to his village he needed a bit more time to stay during his maintenance phase.
Now that his health is improving, his parents decided to take him to their village. They will be coming back to Kathmandu every month for his medical checkups.
Darling Kabiraj joined us in September 2021 as our 58th Leo’s Kid. He has completed his active treatment for a type of blood cancer and is now 3 months into his maintenance phase.During his active treatment Kabiraj and his parents stayed at our Leo’s Kids K-Flats.
Kabiraj is a car enthusiast and he also learned Hindi language by watching Hindi TV shows during his stay at Leo’s Kids K-Flats.
