Celebrating Pranita Dhungel, our 37th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!

Precious Pranita is our 3-year-old Leo’s Kid who was diagnosed with blood cancer. We are happy to announce that she has successfully completed active treatment and now is in maintenance phase!

Little Pranita joined us in December 2021 as our 68th Leo’s Kid. She has now returned to her home at Manthali, Ramechhap which is east of Kathmandu. She is enjoying her time back at home with her siblings and has been eating well too.

Darling Pranita will be coming back to Kathmandu every month for regular check ups. During her active treatment she stayed in a separate apartment with her mom and dad in between hospital stays. Our Leo’s Kids K-Flats families supported Pranita and her family by taking her homemade food while they were at the hospital.

We deeply appreciate those of you who are able to partner with us financially to support these precious children and families either with a one-time donation or a monthly donation. This helps ensure our ability to provide ongoing support to these families in their time of crisis.
