Celebrating Sanvi Bastola, our 46th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!

2-year-old Sanvi has now completed active treatment for blood cancer! She was first introduced to you as our 61st Leo’s Kid in October 2021. Sanvi stayed with her mom and dad in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats during her active treatment where Sanvi loved playing with the other Leo’s Kids.

Little Sanvi is now continuing with her maintenance phase. Sanvi and her parents are excited to go home to Illam which lies in the eastern part of Nepal..

In about a month Sanvi will visit Kathmandu for her regular medical check up. Sanvi’s parents let us know their daughter is eating well and has gained weight so her medical team has finally removed her feeding tube!

Lovely Sanvi likes to scribble in her drawing pad and she recently drew a watch on her wrist with a colorful ink pen. Sanvi’s parents have decided to send her to kindergarten next year if her health continues to get better.
