Childhood Cancer Survivor Dreams of Becoming Computer Engineer

Pradip is a very shy 16-year-old Leo’s Kid but he definitely didn’t shy away from fighting cancer. He was diagnosed with neck cancer but as of a couple months ago he is one of our Leo’s Kids graduates.

Sunil called Pradip and his mother to chat about how they are doing and their future plans.

Pradip was at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital yesterday for his regular monthly check up and all the reports are pretty positive. He has his next follow up in April where he will have an MRI and some blood work done.

He lives with his family in Banepa which is about 1 hour from the hospital. He has been going back to school in his hometown and studies in grade 10. After school he stays home, does his homework, plays video games 🎮, and his friends visit him regularly.

For now Pradip is happy to be back at school preparing to face his 10 Grade SLC Board Exam. He told Sunil he is interested in pursuing computer science and becoming a computer engineer.
