Meet our 65th newest Leo’s Kid, Depish Tamang!
Depish is a 13-year-old boy and an only child from Nuwakot Panchakanya, Nepal. His parents first brought him to Kathmandu 6 months ago because Depish had pain in his teeth and bleeding. Nothing was found to be wrong at that time so they returned home. The symptoms continued so they came back to a teaching hospital in Kathmandu where they diagnosed him with blood cancer just days before Dashain last month.
Depish was referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital where he is being treated while he and his parents stay in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats near Kanti Hospital. Depish has been eating well since arriving in our Flats.
