Depish’s drawing talents get his nurses’ attention.

13-year-old Depish joined us in early November, shortly after his diagnosis, as our 65th Leo’s Kid and has been staying in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats with his mom.

He gets along well with fellow Leo’s Kid Samir as they’re the same age. However, Depish just completed his treatment so his doctors are having him isolate for now to avoid infection. The boys spend time playing games together on their phones from separate rooms.

Depish has also been drawing a lot. He is so good at drawing that his nurses noticed his talent and entered him into an art contest.

Depish should hear from his doctors next week whether Depish is done with active treatment or will need to continue a little longer.
