We wish our dear Ishu the happiest 10th birthday! This delightful and talented young lady came to us one year ago as our 21st Leo’s Kid and we are thrilled to celebrate this wonderful milestone with her!
In July this year we announced Ishu’s graduation from active treatment to maintenance phase for treating blood cancer. This amazing young girl led walks and runs around Kathmandu valley to promote Leo’s Kids 365 and raise awareness for childhood cancer in Nepal. We are so proud of her hard work and determination to be able to call herself a cancer survivor and we call her a warrior.
This special girl has spent months on regular video chats with our older son and daughter, Leo’s big brother and sister, and has shared music, silly games, and lots of laughter with them. We are always happy when Ishu calls!
Happy birthday, Ishu! We hope this year brings wonderful blessings, great improvements in your health, and lots of fun!
