When 14-year-old Jafrodin joined our Leo’s Kids family a month and a half ago as our 62nd Leo’s Kid, it was in the middle of a busy festival season in Nepal when we paused our momo parties in our Leo’s Kids Flats.
Now that Dashain and Tihar are over, we have resumed the parties on some Saturdays and Jafrodin is really happy about that! With treatment, Jafrodin has lost his appetite, but he was very excited when he learned he would be there for his first momo party in Leo’s Kids B-Flats!
Jafrodin is two cycles in to his treatment for a rare form of pediatric colon cancer and at his most recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting we were glad to hear there are foods he can get excited about!
