Jenish and Ganesh: 2 friends laughing, playing, & battling cancer together

Ganesh and Jenish share a special bond together in our Leo’s Kids B-Flats near Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

10-year-old Ganesh is our 69th Leo’s Kid and is in active treatment for blood cancer. Right after treatment, he feels itchiness in his body so he sleeps early to avoid it. Ganesh’s mom encourages him to eat on time.

8-year-old Jenish is our 73rd Leo’s Kid and is at the end of active treatment for soft tissue cancer. Since Jenish’s cancer area is in his hand, he had a hard time moving his hand before, but recently Jenish has been feeling really well and able to move his hand better.

These two boys enjoy spending their time playing together and have become good friends.
