5-year-old Kabiraj has been progressing through treatment for blood cancer with his dad by his side. His dad is a farmer back home and after the harvest, Kabiraj’s mom went back home to care for their two older girls while his dad came to Kathmandu to care for Kabiraj.
Kabiraj and his dad like to play chess together while they’re at the hospital for his treatment. In a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting, his dad updated us on his son’s progress. His current treatment leaves him with little appetite, but his dad tries his best to get him to eat as much as he can.
The two of them stay together in our Leo’s Kids K-Flats near Kanti Children’s Hospital where Kabiraj, our 58th Leo’s Kid, is being treated.
