21-month-old Menuka and her parents are from Accham District and joined us when Menuka was only 9 months old. We first introduced her to you in July 2021 as our 52nd newest Leo’s Kid.
Menuka was being treated for liver cancer at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. During treatment Menuka had pneumonia which made her health worse.
Menuka’s parents took her to the village in Achham in February this year and haven’t returned for further treatments. Even though the network connection is really poor where Menuka’s family lives, we continuously try to keep in touch with her family to know about Menuka.
Menuka’s dad was pleased to let us know that Menuka looks healthy and she is eating well. Menuka does her medical checkup at the nearest hospital in their village.
Darling Menuka stayed in our Leo’s Kids B-Flats with her mom and dad for about 7 months. During her stay in Leo’s Kids B-Flats, Menuka used to play with other Leo’s Kids. She also enjoyed playing with dolls.
