Reading books helps Saraswati fight through cancer treatment

Our adorable 80th Leo’s Kid, Saraswati Bumi, joined us one month ago. At a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting Saraswati’s mom told us that she had lost her appetite due to treatment for blood cancer. The only things she likes are milk and eggs.

7-year-old Saraswati is continuing with cancer treatment at Patan Hospital. This cute and loving young girl will have 4 more cycles added before her next CT scan which will help determine her next steps.

Saraswati is staying with her mom at our Leo’s Kids P-Flats as she continues treatment. She loves reading books and watching videos on her mobile phone.
