Remembering Dinesh Budha

It has been quite awhile since our last update for Team Leo’s Kids, and we are sad to inform you all that our newest Leo’s Kid, Dinesh Budha, a 15-year-old boy from Jumla, Nepal, passed away suddenly today from complications with his treatment.

Harimaya from Team Leo’s Kids had several chances to meet with him and talk with him. He had seemed to be doing well with his treatment when unexpectedly today Babita the social worker called to let us know he passed away.

He was part of our Leo’s Kids Flats community so this is a hard loss for all the families.

We have arranged transportation to take Dinesh’s family and his remains to his hometown where the final rituals will be performed.

Our hearts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time, and we send our love and prayers their way as they mourn their beautiful and precious son.

Dinesh, it was such an honor to be even a small part of your journey on this earth. Your life and legacy matter to all of us, and we will continue to work to bring hope and help to your friends who will miss you dearly.
