Remembering Diwansh: A Tribute to a Brave and Irresistible Little Boy

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our dear Diwansh, who passed away on Sunday morning. He and his family lived in Nawalpur, Nepal, and he completed his active cancer treatment in January 2022.

Diwansh joined us in October 2021 as our 63rd Leo’s Kid, and he lived at our Leo’s Kids K-Flats for 83 wonderful days. He made many friends and loved spending time riding bikes and playing with the other Leo’s Kids. Diwansh and his family bravely fought his eye cancer with the support of all of you, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to get to know him and his family and for the support you gave them during his treatment.

Diwansh will be deeply missed by his father and mother, and he will forever be remembered as an unforgettable and irresistible little boy.

We extend our love and heartfelt condolences to Diwansh’s parents as they grieve the loss of their irreplaceable and daring son. Diwansh was a joyous baby, a loving son, and a dear friend to our Leo’s Kids, and so much more.

Dear Diwansh, we promise to keep your memory alive by giving other children like you the chance to fight their cancer and the hope to win.
