Sanjay Crushes Cancer for 2nd time

💪🏽 Sanjay is cancer-free for second time and is ready to move on with his life!

🏥 Sanjay Shrestha was first diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma or a type of bone cancer when he was 12 year old. Unfortunately his cancer had returned by the time he was 18 years old. He is now 19.

👦🏽 He came to our foundation 14 months ago as only our 11th Leo’s Kid!

🎉 Now he has graduated from active treatment! He has completed all of his medical tests and he and his mom tell us all the tests are really good.

🩺 Sanjay will be coming back to Bhaktapur for more check ups in 3 months.

🎊 He and his mom are very excited to go home especially during this time of year with all the biggest festivals going on.

🎸 During the time Sanjay stayed in our Leo’s Kids B-Flats near Bhaktapur, he spent his time sketching, singing, and playing guitar. He entertained everyone in Leo’s Kids Flats by singing songs and playing with them.

❤️ Sanjay is known as a very humble, cheerful, and outgoing person with a calm energy. His friends in the Flats love his helpful and sweet nature.

🏫 Sanjay looks forward to pursuing graphic designing and the culinary arts.
