❤️🩹 Our sweet Saru has been struggling not only with her cancer and recovery from covid this summer, but now she’s dealing with shingles as well.
In a recent Leo’s Kids Care Meeting with 17-year-old Saru and her mom, they shared just how sick Saru has been recently. However, this amazing young woman perked up when we wanted to take a few pictures of her.
Soon Saru will begin daily treatment over the course of about a month during which time we are urging her and her mom to come stay at our Leo’s Kids B-Flats near Bhaktapur Cancer where the treatment will take place.
Saru and her mom have been staying with her uncle in his apartment since we first introduced her to you in the spring as our 45th Leo’s Kid.
We will keep you updated on Saru’s progress here and on our website.
