Saru’s progress shows she is ready for surgery

 Saru Syangtan first came to us in May of last year as our 45th Leo’s Kid. She was being treated for cancer in her hand.

❤️‍🩹Saru faced several challenges last year throughout treatment for her cancer. She got very sick and we grew concerned for her.

 However, at a recent Leo’s Kid Care Meeting she told us her doctors were pleased with her progress and will be able to do surgery on her hand soon.

17-year-old Saru seems encouraged by this important news.
