Meet our 107th newest Leo’s Kid, Sivisha Khadka!
👧🏽 14-year-old Sivisha is from Baglung which lies in the western part of Nepal. After her first covid vaccine, Sivisha started having frequent headaches, but she still went to school. When she received her second vaccine, she not only had frequent headaches, but she also started to have weakness in her body.
🏥 One day while coming from school she called her mom and told her she was unable to walk home. Her parents brought her to Teku Hospital where she was diagnosed with blood cancer. She was then referred to Blood Hospital in Pulchowk where she has been in active treatment for blood cancer for the past 7 month.
🎗Sivisha had a hard time walking as her legs were unable to move for a while, but recently she has been able to walk a little. According to Sivisha’s mom, she sometimes struggles with loss of appetite during and right after treatment.
📚 Sivisha is staying with her mom, dad, and older sister in Pulchowk, Kathmandu. Sivisha is a very ambitious and determined young girl who was in grade 8 when she got sick. Sivisha has always wanted to study medicine in the future and she aspires to become a Neurosurgeon.
