We are beyond grateful for every single person who has contributed any amount to our Leo’s Kids over the past 2 years.
Yesterday marked 2 years since we last held and kissed our precious baby boy Leonardo. The outpouring of support from around the globe since that day has been nothing short of incredible. Yesterday Partnership for Child Health Nepal notified us that a generous donation was on its way. Every penny donated to Leo’s Kids goes to help other children like Leo in Nepal facing childhood cancer and helps ease the burden their families endure.❤️🩹We often get requests from families whose children are facing health challenges other than cancer and we do our best to point them in the right direction to find the health care they need and help them establish private fund raising efforts. One family came to us last year for their infant daughter Siyona who needed genetic therapy that wasn’t available in Nepal.
Siyona’s dad, Dr. Sandeep Shrestha, established Team Siyona and was able to raise the money needed for his daughter’s treatment! In order to help other children in Nepal, Dr. Sandeep gave excess funds to the Partnership for Child Health Nepal which was established to help support families and charities in Nepal who are helping children with health care needs of all kinds.
We were grateful to hear from Dr. Sandeep that Partnership for Child Health Nepal wanted to give to Leo’s Kids some of the money that was donated for his daughter’s treatment. 15 lakh rupees has been sent to our Nepal location which is more than $12,500 US!
We are thrilled Dr. Sandeep’s family has access to life-saving treatment for their daughter Siyona and for Partnership for Child Health Nepal’s mission to help other children in Nepal. Our Leo’s Kids will benefit greatly from this generous contribution!
