We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 242nd Leo’s Kid, 15-year-old Dinesh BK, has successfully completed his active treatment for a tumor and is now entering the maintenance phase! Dinesh is the 158th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
After 284 days of dedicated care and unwavering strength, Dinesh is finally heading home. Dinesh received his treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital. During these challenging 284 days, Dinesh and his family stayed at Leo’s Kid K-Flat, which became their home away from home.
His parents, Buddhabir BK (who works in farming) and Harimaya BK (a housewife), have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Dinesh’s journey. Their dedication, along with Dinesh’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
We are incredibly proud of Dinesh and his family and wish him all the best on his continued path to full recovery!
