Darling little Sandhya is only 4 years old and has completed most of her treatment for a type of blood cancer. Her little brother has been by her side through a lot of this journey playing with her and just helping her be a kid.
Sandhya came to us as our 59th Leo’s Kid and has been receiving outpatient treatment or day care which will continue for probably 2 more months. Then her doctor will order some tests which will determine her next step.
4-year-old Sandhya has been eating better lately which wasn’t the case when she had a sore throat for a couple days, but now she seems fine.
Sandhya stays in our Leo’s Kids B-Flats with her mom, dad, and her adorable younger brother. She gets along so well with him and they play together all the time.
